What is so great about socialism? Ever wonder about that? Why do these people keep trying to take care of us with socialism? Are they really that nice?

Socialism is a populist program for taking over countries. The one thing that Socialists need is a dumbed down, uneducated population to get it done. They also need unions, which usually enjoy a golden existence with the people in power, in return for financial support as well as physical support if needed.

No socialist country has been successful to date. The U.S.S.R.? That country imploded after keeping their people in abject misery for 70 years.

East Germany? They had to build a wall and keep it covered with machine guns to keep their people from escaping to West Germany or other countries. Many people were so desperate to get out that they risked being shot and in fact were killed trying to get out of the country.

Ancient history? Nope. The wall didn’t come down until 1989.

Venezuela? Hugo Chavez has turned into a bad cartoon character in the process of ruining Venezuela. He has taken over or jailed executives of all media outlets that were critical of him; he has nationalized the oil business, their biggest industry; he has nationalized the power companies, leading to massive blackout over the past 6 months; he has taken over the food industry and prices are skyrocketing and 80,000 tons of rotting food were recently found in a government warehouse, while food shortages abound. This travesty is happening now.

China? Now there is the great example. Thirty or forty years ago, China was so far behind and becoming so stagnant that in desperation, the Party brought in instructors to teach company owners capitalism so that they could compete on the world stage. The Chinese did not call it capitalism but that is in fact what one instructor recently reported.

However, while China didn’t medal with their industry as much as Obama and his Democratic Socialists want to, they did control who became a success. Today, of the 300 Chinese that have a net worth of $20 Million +, all but a handful are upper echelon party members.

How about the European socialism that the liberals are so fond of holding up to us as a great example. Britain? Between their health care program which is turning into an unmitigated disaster, and their other socialist policies, they are on the edge of bankruptcy, just as we are.

Sweden? I don’t know if the socialist held onto power in their recent election or not. People were so fed up with socialism that the socialists didn’t think that they would be able to hang on to power.

France? Their health care is in bankruptcy and the country is tanking. Sarkozy is trying to save things but public unions are striking against raising the retirement age from 60 to 62.

Greece? Greece went European socialist about 15 years ago and are now literally bankrupt. Again, the public unions are blocking reforms.

California? The most socialistic state this side of Massachusetts is in deep doo doo, financially with a budget short fall this year of something like $21 Billion. One town has fired all of their employees and are outsourcing all of their police, fire and other activities to surrounding towns. Of course, the problem with that is that local citizens no longer have a say in the quality of their police protection, fire response and other services that the city delivers.

Other towns are considering bankruptcy. The City of San Jose just laid off 70 janitors who were making $41 per hour. Not bad for pushing a vacuum or mopping a floor or dumping a wastebasket. They were replaced by a janitorial contract with a private company at $19 per hour.

No one has been able to demonstrate one socialist country that was even a fair success; and certainly nothing even approaching the greatness that the United States once achieved!

Having watched the video clip of Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA) that was included in the last newsletter, it sheds light on the nasty, vacuous mental state of the elected politicians from California and I now understand why those politicians are boycotting Arizona. Knowing who they really are gives me comfort. If they had any mental credentials, I would be a lot more upset with their boycott.

I watched the president’s speech on immigration reform on Thursday. Never have I seen a better speech designed to mislead through half truths and bogus information so masterfully delivered. He makes B.S. sound so good that he probably should be granted an Oscar for Best B.S.

He will not be denied his permanent sub-culture which will insure a permanent democrat majority that will respond to government handouts and vote to keep them coming.

A couple of things to keep in mind here. First, he said that there are 11,000,000 illegals in the country now. If memory serves me, three or four years ago, the number being bandied about was 20,000,000. If that is correct, the administration is participating in a fraud again.

Secondly, the illegals are, for the most part, uneducated; the exact formula for the dems to maintain their majority. Being undereducated, whether they are legal or illegal, families will still use about 4 times the government services that they pay for through taxes.

This is exactly why every first world and most second world countries won’t let you in unless you have money or a needed skill; especially if they have extensive social programs, such as we do.

Check it out folks. Try countries that you would like to live in and see what their requirements are. Canada and Russia probably don’t count because the weather up there is so miserable most of the year and in most areas that given a choice, no right thinking person would move there. ( With all due apologies to my Canadian friends…note that I said “most” of the time and “most” areas)

So if the illegals are made legal, count on huge taxes to support them.

You can bet your sweet Bippy that the leftists are already formulating ways to disregard that decision by putting very high financial requirements on owning a gun, requiring a lot of education and other things that would put the ownership of guns out of the realm of possibility for everyday Americans.

I reported on this early last year and observed that the “fix was in” when it was decided that the D.O.J. wouldn’t pursue this case because of a “lack of evidence”.

The D.O.J. attorney that was handling the case said the decision not to pursue the case was based on politics and race. He said that as far as not having the evidence, he said that he had video and eye witnesses to the incident. It doesn’t get any easier to make a case then that, he observed.

This, from the guy that single handedly brought down the British Pound in a currency manipulation deal a number of years ago. He is chiding Germany that they need to follow Obama’s lead in runaway spending. Merkel ain’t buying it.

What is even more interesting is natural seepage of oil from under the ocean floor. The best current estimate is that about 50,000,000 gallons of oil annually seeps out naturally from the oceans floor around North America, primarily in the Gulf of Mexico and off the coast of California.

A European Court of Human Rights in Brussels, 8 months ago, banned crucifixes in Italian Schools because they said the crucifixes violate religious and education freedom. Now, nine European countries have appealed that finding in an effort to overturn it.

The dollar’s trend of moving inversely to the stock market has seemingly been snapped, with the Dow Jones falling over 100 points at one stage today. However, as soon as markets began to claw back losses, the greenback failed to follow suit, indicating that whichever way markets move, the dollar is in big trouble.

“A new global reserve system could be created, one that no longer relies on the United States dollar as the single major reserve currency,” stated the report, adding that this new system should not be based on a basket of currencies, but on IMF-controlled SDR’s.

WORLD NET DAILY: A socialist organization with close ties to Barack Obama has outlined a plan to turn the president’s health-care legislation into a government-run system that will ultimately eliminate private insurance companies.

Obama’s health-care bill “should create millions of new stakeholders in a health-care system governed by democratically established rules rather than by the fiats of private insurers,” wrote Frank Llewellyn, national director of Democratic Socialists of America.

Writing in the latest issue of the socialist Democratic Left magazine, Llewellyn said “progressives” must use Obama’s health-care legislation “to build support for the elimination of private insurers.”
